Most English coaching focuses on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. We are different. We coach career advancement through authentic communication. We're not teaching you English as much as we are helping you leverage your bilingual voice. No. But you should be interested in career advancement. Some students join because they want to be ready for promotions when they come. Others join because they want to be more visible and influential in their current role. The program works for both.

You join our alumni community. You stay connected with your cohort. You have access to resources and optional office hours. Some alumni choose to continue with advanced coaching. Most are ready to move forward independently, with the C.A.R.E.E.R. Framework™ and their bilingual voice as their foundation.

The programme is 12 weeks with twice-weekly sessions. Consistency is important for transformation. We understand life happens. If you need to take a week or reschedule a session, let's discuss during your consultation. We want you to succeed, and missing sessions can impact your progress.

Our language courses have a maximum of 10 students per class.

About Speak English Professionally Academy

I'm Jabulile Ngwenya, founder of Speak English Professionally Academy.


I'm a writer, storyteller, and world traveler. That foundation shapes everything I do.


I graduated with an Honours degree in English Language and Literature.

I've spent 20+ years writing professionally—for publications, as a published author and co-author. I worked as Deputy Editor of South African Airways In-Flight Magazine for four years, which taught me that authentic communication moves people.


I've travelled the world since I was a baby. I've lived in multiple countries. I've worked across cultures. And that's given me something most English coaches don't have: deep understanding of what it means to be bilingual—linguistically, culturally, and identitively.


For years, I watched brilliant bilingual professionals hold themselves back. They'd apologize for their accent. They'd try to sound like native speakers. They'd minimize themselves. And it made them smaller, not larger.


That's when I realized: the problem wasn't their English. It was that they'd been taught to see their bilingual voice as something to hide, not something to leverage.


So I created Speak English Professionally Academy.

Not to teach grammar. Not to fix accents. But to help bilingual professionals discover that their unique perspective—the way they see the world through multiple languages and cultures—is their superpower.
